CAN I CHECK-IN EARLY?

If you’re arriving before 15hs, we will gladly hold your bags for you until your room is ready.

CAN I CHECK-IN AFTER FRONT DESK HOURS?

There is a staff member on-site 24 hours a day at Oshovia Hostel. If you plan to arrive after 22:00, please inform us by emailing info@oshoviahostel.com or calling +5492901472846. Next morning between 8:00 to 11:00, please come to the reception to complete check-in.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?

Check out is at 10hs. We do not allow for late check out; however, if you are going out for the day we can arrange to hold your bags. And yes, you are always welcome to use the shared spaces.

CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE THERE?

Yes. Our luggage room is open from 7:00 to 22:00. You can store your luggage here before check-in and after check-out. Pick up on the same day is free, while overnight storage is $100 ARS per night per luggage. Luggage fee can be waived if you have a future booking with us.

IS THERE ENTRY ACCESS CONTROL (CURFEW)?

The door is open 24 hours.

HOW DO I KNOW THE RESERVATION IS COMPLETED?

You will receive a confirmation by email. If you did not receive the email confirmation, please check your spam mailbox or email us again.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PROVIDE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WHEN I BOOK THE ROOM? WILL I BE CHARGED THE ROOM FEE?

Your Credit Card information is required to guarantee your booking. No charge will be processed on your card. You can settle your payment by Cash upon arrival. The hostel accepts these cards (Visa and MasterCard) and reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival.

DO YOU ACCEPT GROUP BOOKING AND OFFER DISCOUNT PRICE?

  • Please contact us and we will assign a coordinator to follow-up on your specific case.

CAN I CHANGE / CANCEL MY BOOKING?

Yes. Cancellation charge will only be applied for changes requested within 7 days preceding your booking (excluding day of arrival). Please observe our reservation policy for details.

  1. For cancellation made 7 days before your arrival day, 100% room fee could be refunded.
  2. For cancellation made on arrival day or in cases of no show, no fee will be refunded.  
  3. No refund or modification after check-in.

Example: Check-in on Dec 20th,  the last day for free cancellation is Dec 12th.

If you provide an invalid card, the reservation will be cancelled automatically without further notification.

 

CAN I CHOOSE UPPER OR LOWER BED/ROOM?

We will arrange your room or beds according to the best availability. Please kindly understand that we cannot guarantee your room/ bed location.

CAN I ADD AN EXTRA BED?

Sorry, we do not provide this service.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT OSHOVIA HOSTEL?

While we do like children, Oshovia Hostel is designed for adults.  Due to this, we do not accept children under the age of 12. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and is not allowed to stay in the dorms.

IS OSHOVIA HOSTEL PET FRIENDLY?

Although we love our furry little friends, we sadly do not allow dogs, cats, or any other pets to spend the night. It is simply too difficult to keep the rooms to our standard of cleanliness while allowing them to stay. 

IS THERE FREE PARKING?

We do not have a parking lot nearby available, but you can park your car right out front of the hostel, the neighbourhood is really safe.

IS THERE A HAIR DRYER PROVIDED IN THE ROOM?

Yes, we provide hair dryers in all private rooms, and in the shared bathrooms for dorms.

ARE THE BATHROOMS SHARED?

If you are in a private room you will have a private bathroom. If you are in a dormitory, you will share the bathroom with other people.

IS HOT WATER AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES?

No, the showers at the shared bathrooms are opened from 7 AM until 00 AM.

IS THERE A WASHING MACHINE?

No, but we do offer laundry service.

IS THERE A BED CURTAIN IN DORMITORY ROOM?

Yes. We have a bed curtain for every single dorm bed, so you can maintain privacy inside your bed.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES THE KITCHEN PROVIDE?

We offer refrigerators, microwave and kitchenware.

DO YOU PROVIDE FREE WIFI?

Yes, we have free and unlimited wifi throughout the entire property. If you need the password, please see a staff member.

IS THERE AN ELEVATOR?

No, we do not have an elevator in the building.

DOES EVERYONE HAVE A LOCKER? HOW BIG IS IT? DO I NEED TO BRING A LOCK?

Every bed is equipped with a locker. You will need to bring your own lock. The size is about 30cmx30cmx40cm which stores valuable belongings.

ARE TOWELS INCLUDED IN THE ROOM FEE?

All ensuites provide towels in the rooms. For dorms, towels are available for rental. All bathrooms onsite offer shampoo and shower gel.
